Who Are We?

The Hamilton & District Injured Workers’ Group is dedicated to helping workers, their families and friends who are injured, have been exposed to toxic substances, or live with disabilities resulting from workplace injuries.  We also provide our services to the families and friends of those workers who have been killed on the job.

We shall always fight for justice, dignity, and the security of injured workers in the workplace and against any violation of human rights.

The organization is independent, non-partisan and non-profit.  We welcome volunteers and donations to assist our group reach our goals.

The organization works to help Injured Workers organize and to provide education and support to advance the interests of its members.

We are Located at:

1130 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8H 7P9

Our volunteer board provides leadership, support, activities, fundraising and educational events to promote change to the legislation and improve the lives of injured workers.


Membership is open to all persons concerned about and dedicated to the abolition and injustice to workers who have been injured or live with disabilities. Membership is $20 per year.  Please call the office to join us.


We rely on volunteers.  Help us: assist in peer support, our annual Penny Sale, creating and distributing our Day of Mourning Ribbons, we produce and distribute approximately 10,000 ribbons per year. We host social events, such as BBQ’s, Crafts, Euchre groups,
